From a series of ‘rhythm drawings,’ where I relied on the subconscious to draw to the sound of music in whatever way came naturally to my hand. I chose several elements from this drawing series to recreate in this final illustration.

The ground below is littered with bones of everything that has lived before us, remains of what is abandoned, once living organisms that turn to dust and scatter in the wind. The unknown beckons upon us in silence. We are connected to this earth. It will take us all.
